hello,

not sure if it's suitable to be posted here but I
managed to buy the Diana F+ lens adaptor for lomo recently. Attaching is preety ok but the lens shows up F-- on my dslr, does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

thanks!

There is no CPU chip on the lens so your camera is unable to detect the aperture; this is similar to mounting the AI/AIS lens on the D90.

try using manual mode. see if that works

yep it worked perfectly with manual mode, thanks! :D

hey! post some sample pics please? =)) would love to see how the diana lens turned out on the nikon! thanks in advance!

may i know how much u paid for e adaptor n lens?? izit e diana fisheye lens??

manual should work fine... can do everything yourself, eg. metering.

how much is the adaptor anyway

can someone post sample shots taken with this adaptor pls?
Thx

the adapter cost about 30+ and the lens 80+ (ruby)

Does this mean you do not need a Nikon F series to use the lens? Can it be fixed on a Nikon D5000 too?

oh yesh..any idea wats the default aperture size for this adaptor?

I've tried a 38mm super-wide lens on a d700 and the results are not that good. Not as good as those taken with the real diana though. And the f-stop is fixed at f/22. The diana tone doesn't come out which really disappoints me. :(

What on earth 'Diana tone'? :dunno:
