like i said earlier....those research/survey/watever u saw were based on the time when NIKON D70 wasn't out yt....ofcos they will top the sales chart cos they r the 1st to come out with a >$1000 DSLR... :nono:

90% of the people here talks about cameras and less than a handful can actually demonstrate their difference with posted pictures. Basing judgments solely on what you use only leads to these pointless/endless arguments over which is better and what I should buy or sell. People like me just join in the fray.

Right now D70 features beats 300D but maybe in future Canon will counterattack with another better model? Right now 1D Mark II wins Nikon D2H but in future Nikon will also release a counterattack?
Competition between Canon and Nikon will only benefits us the consumers.
Isn't that what the article trying to say and not that Nikon or Canon is the clear winner ? :dunno:
There will be a never ending fight between Canon and Nikon (until one closes down maybe?), but why are we the users fighting over it too ? (EGO?)

Get real. Go and ask any camera dealer today and they will tell what is the current hottest DSLR camera. Hmmm, maybe I should dig up some sales report in the 70s and 80s... :blah: :bsmilie:

Maybe you would like to share with us what is the difference? AFAIK, I only know that the quality of the len makes the most difference? Care to enlighten me?
For your information I'm not a pro Nikon or Canon or any whatsoever brands, my concern is the quality and content of the image.

Hi guys,

Just came back from India with my D70. Will post some pics once i get my butt settled down and you all can then check out the photo details...

Actually D70 is my first DSLR. I was a Nikon SLR user, and stuck to Nikon for my initial stages of digital photography with Coolpix 850 and 4300. Then i got coverted to the ever versatile Canon G3. Darn, it's a wonderful prosumer digicam

And finally i chose D70 over 300D after weeks of research and trials...and i'm positively glad to say i did not regret the buy
