Haha, the Nikon of Gods heard my bitching and decided to punish me today :sweat: :bsmilie:

Oh well, I was actually expecting it to happen, and hopefully before my warranty ran out, and it has, so in a way I'm quite relieved, cause my D70 is from the problematic first batch... though I'm not happy about my 70-200 :angry:

But oh well, **** happens.. what goes around comes around :sticktong

Oh well, to be fair to Nikon I'm glad to say that they had my cam fixed and ready for collection in record time.. Only took them 2+ days to replace my light metering module, upgrade firmware, clean CCD and fix some other problems with my internal flash and a mode dial replacement, plus they also did an adjustment to my 70-200 lens after I sent it in for focussing issues. Maybe it was because I told them I wanted to borrow their D2X for a weekend shoot if they can't complete in time ..hehe :devil:


Anyway, :thumbsup: for Nikon Sg service center
