Nikon SB 910 is out

The price is still crazy for a flash that will more than likely fail on average with a 2-3 year span...I guese all the flash pictures shot by folks prior to the sb 600/700/800/900 series were not good enough so now to be really in vogue, you've got to have a flash that costs 5 times as much....I would rather just use a couple of SB28's with a battery pack and save my money for some decent studio gear...Heck for the price of 3 sb 900's you could own an elinchrom Quadra set or a couple of Alien Bee's with battery power packs and than you would not have to worry about over heating etc and the power output would be much greater....

I believe Edison is a store located in Sim Lim Square ground floor. And I think some CSers have already purchased the SB-910 in Singapore.

just a quick question , you guys using the sanyo ni-mh battery for your nikon speedlite flash? I saw this 1.2V 2000mAh selling at challenger @ $27.90 (envelop glitter) but coudn't find the charger. Is funnan challenger selling them? from sanyo website I found this model MQR06 the charging rate seem to be faster rather than wait for 16hrs. any recommendation on the battery and charger?

It has nothing got to do with the flash. It's d700's hot shoe problem. Mainly due to the fact that it got loose from heavy usage with heavier flashes like the sb-900. Not every1 gets it also.

SLRR in funan sells 4 eneloops with the 2hr quick charger in a package for $38 IIRC. I couldnt manage to find eneloops in Challenger at Funan.

I have no idea what the model is.. I didn't exactly check it in full detail since I was looking for eneloops only without the charger. All they said was that it's a quick charger. Why not pm them in facebook or call them up to ask?
