no it's not free, you have to register as member in nikon club, answer the survey to earn 200 points and click redeem item but you have to pay 20$ when redeeming...and yeah it's out of stock for a while now, been camping since last week to no avail..

Industry's Disgrace is also one in low quantities... You've got to be really lucky to spot it in the Crumpler stores...

My Skooba Bungee strap. Guess I am one of the few who doesn't care that my strap doesn't have Nikon on it. The tote bag it is in is a Nikon tote bag though, but does not have its logo splashed all over the bag.

I would not recommend the Skooba Bungee strap as all the weight of the camera will be only on the bungee strap and the open ends are being held by a single sewing thread.

Hmmm okay. Haven't had a single issue with this on my camera.

Got my neck strap at Nikon Centre today....

The nice gentlement at the counter told me it's only available at Nikon Club...

I last time asked already, they sold out all the straps and asked me to get from N Club.

So in the end I got it from there loh. But frankly speaking, the strap is not that very long unlike the crumpler industrial disgrace.
