Has anyone considered buying from US? Generally cheaper than Singapore, esp for Canon stuff. Now that exchange rate is favourable, shld consider..

For a start, try www.adorama.com or www.bhphotovideo.com. They are respectable online retailers. Can be used as reference on how much local distributors are marking up.

Some items (such as Nikon bodies) are not exportable from US though. But products such as lenses usually come with 5-year local warranty!
