Interesting.. Then can nikon use canon flash? and still have ttl?

Canon flash doesn't offer automatic modes, so they'll always fire at full power (or less if u use the manual mode). This will be a bit harder to use.

Interesting.. Tks..

Can work but no TTL. U can use the automatic modes (found on most of the higher end Nikon flash) on the flash unit where a sensor will help determine the flash exposure and cut off the flash accordingly. What you need to do is to sync the aperture and ISO settings on the flash to be the same as the camera and to set the flash zoom accordingly.

what's the price of B+W UV for a 62mm?

I bought B+W UV 67mm for $70. TK photo.
And B+W UV 58mm for $50 (if I am not wrong). Cathay Photo.

For 62mm you can agak-agak between $50-$70.

Arto.

After buying 3 pieces of B&W UV, 1 Nikon NC & 1 Hoya Pro I stopped buying UV filters.

Of the 3 types, i like the B&W best cos somehow it stays clean most of the time and when it get dust spots, I can just blow it away. even finger prints areeasy to wipe off using my lens coth. I had very bad experience with the Nikon (maybe its my luck) it attract dust easily and finger prints are hard to clean. (i dont use lens pen though) The hoya simply cant match the other 2, dust can get into your front element. If you look closely, Hoya hold the glass in place with a spring clip. B&W uses a screw in ring.

Nowadays, I mostly use without filters. Only have B&W filter on my 400mm & 70-200f2.8IS

B+W for their easy to clean coating.
But nowadays i just shoot without them ( B+W / NC filters )

So if I am to use my lenses on both film and digital bodies, will it be a better choice to invest in UV filters?

its not better, its more of "you have no choice" ;p

due to UV light going to spoil ur film, u have no choice but to get UV filters...

I also got my 67mm at CP for $49.

If i not wrong, the MO ones are the MRC version, which is more ex.

B+W feels nicer.I don't really think that there is a significant optical difference between the well-known brands of filters except for flare-control and ease of cleaning which I think B+W is the best at (Not counting the really ex Leica and Heliopan filters).

I think easiest to clean now are the new Hoya HD filters.
