For prices and where to get, we have a priceguide section for a good reason.

My view is that you need to spend some minutes exploring the forum a bit more and learning about the "search" box before anyhow posting.

hmm..you might want to do more research..besides Tamron. There are many other to choose from. Price you might need to call or visit the shops to get better/latest accurate figures. (It would be better if you state what Camera body you using).

maybe you should go read up more about tokina 11-16 f2.8 uwa, it's a popular lens.

price wise maybe you can call those recommended shop up for latest price =). cheers.

btw there's ver1 and ver2

I don't own ultra wide lenses, be it FX or DX,
but for DX body, the Tokina 11-16 lens are more popular and have many good reviews.

Nikon provide several DX and FX wide angle lenses.

Then you have the 3rd party offerings. All are pretty good, and share similar shortcomings.

It is one of those things that have been aggressively debated everywhere, and it is usually down to personal preference in the end.
