Nikon Df - the new King of High ISO performance ?

Bro Tomcat, why do you set the humidity on your Dry Cabinet until 32%
Do you preserve Chinese herbs ?

45% to 50% humidity is sufficient already for the camera & lenses.

One more high ISO shot taken a couple of months ago with the Nikon 105mm f/2.8 Macro and developed with the lousy Capture NX-D.... :(

Which version of Nikon 105mm f/2.8 macro did u use in the shoot?
AF-D or AF-S ?

Nice shoot as usual, ready to take a bath ? ;)

The new one...AF-S

New lens for my Df.... the AF-S Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR

I think this is a good walk-about lens for the Df. It is cheap, small, light and compact and performs particularly as well as the 24-70mm f/2.8... a good travel lens. What's more, it got VR. ;)

A couple of high ISO test shots from this lens.

Yes it's Gariz.
So far so good. Only negative is that with it on, it is more difficult to remove the SD card from the slot due to the extra depth and the vicinity of the slot to the edge of the opening.

So I see that you have also got yourself a black set like me instead of the more popular silver version. :)

haha yea, partly influenced by my friend, partly personal preference i guess..
but no regrets with the black so far :)

Well it is just announced. At this moment, nobody own this lens yet. But combination of wide angle with 1.8 lens and High ISO performance of Df are hard to beat.

Basket every time I come here see Bro Tomcat shoot his cat...... the itch comes.... :embrass:............ but gonna wait for D750 and see how it perform..... hope the AF-S Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR or the AF-S NIKKOR 18-35mm f3.5-4.5G ED that Bro Ortega use for the D810 can perform just as well with D750...
;)
