The smallish SB300 is very cute but the SB400 is more powerful, recycles faster and looks just right mounted on the Df. The SB400 is unfortunately discontinued in 2013 but should still be readily available at the stores locally.I am using it with my old SB-800 (6 years old, so have a retro look)
Yes and so speaks a Passionate Purist.Indeed.
Similar to Nikon Df, also D3, D3s, D4 do not have built in flash.

Considering that the Df is the King of High ISO Performance, the use of flash would have been unnecessary much of the time as you yourself have proven from your near noisefree photos of your kids at high ISO. Surely you would prefer not to use flash on your kids if possible, right? For those rare occasions that require extra light, just pop one of those small external flashes which can bounce. They are also much more powerful than the puny built-in flashes which cannot bounce anyway.ohz hee... coming from D600... abit not use to having additional height....
but can try can try.... thanks for the advice!!!
btw what lenses are you guys using with your Df???
think maybe go NSC check it out....
hmm... NSC dunno why relocate to a place where by parking is soooo damn expensive.. zzz...
