Hahah okayy! I shall be extra cautious tomorrow? But is there any way of confirming that this is not a grey import set? Will update on the price after collection tomorrow.
What would exactly be the best lens for the F1?
I will be sitting in the front row of the pit grandstand, so i guess the zooming distance isn't really going to be an issue? I think i care more about having AWESOME pictures of the F1 Grand Prix race, over the practicality of the 18-200 f/3.5-5.6g lens.
Cheers!![]()
Before i conclude my (apologies) long winded post, i would appreciate it, if you guys could advice me if the lens i'm getting, 18-200 f/3.5-5.6g lens is indeed appropriate for the Singapore F1 Grand prix (apparently its a fast lense?)
Am really happy with my camera. Only thing is that it has too many freaking functions, and it screwed up some of my shots.
Got my D300!
So the moment of truth.
The set i got was ORIGINAL (not grey set) with proper warranty for both the lens and body. I went with the Nikon 18-200mm 3.6-5.6. The package included 1 extra original battery, 4GB CF Card, Screen Protector, CF Card reader, all thrown in, for the price that ranges between 3,000 and 3,300.

Oh not forgetting, the shop is Alan Photo at Sim Lim Square. He is quite established. Here is his shop's webpage.
Hmmm... lotsa Nikon D300 users here...
supernikon: Im also a Nikon D300 + 18-200mm amateur here! Got mine from John 3:16 2 months back. Did u get a tripod/monopod for the F1 as well?
