Nikon D750 Official

I insisted that they check my shutter unit, but the person said the D750 is not known to have any issues and they will publish a service advisory just like the D600.

Then again it took Nikon about 1 year for them to issue a service advisory for the D600. Correct me if I'm wrong about this though.

Sounds bad. You got any photos to show ? At least the other d750 can watch out for this issue.

Yup, saw some reports on this issue in other sites. Disappointed but hopefully it’s not oil stain & it can be easily blown away. And hopefully after some run-in the issue is gone.
Hi MarkersNg, what’s the shutter count when u saw the particles?
Will have to check mine during this coming weekend.

Probably around 300+
Used the camera twice only... I used a blower to rid of the dust, but it came back pretty quickly :dunno: Oh well, after cleaning it seems fine, but will test it out once more.
I can confirm it's dust and not oil stain.

@alfie: I cloned them off and formatted my SD card already :(

That is your problem right there. Try using a class 10 and above card.
But class 10 cards are slower leh, that's the fastest card i have on hand.

I mean, class 1 cards have got to be the fastest and class 10 the slowest right?

Bro this not not like degree.... 1st class honor.... The higher the number of the sd card, the faster.... Do get a class 10 one at least....

If u google on SD card classes, u would realise that a Class 4 SD Card means the card guarantees minimum transfer speed of 4Mbps. Similarly, Class 10 SD Card guarantees minimum transfer speed of 10Mbps, max theoretical speed will follow as advertised (30Mbps, 60Mbps, 90Mbps etc, depending on SD card model). So u prefer a card that guarantees 1Mbps throughput or 10Mbps throughput? :)

I could even be wrong abt this. But hope u learn something from this. :)

Will like to ask all owners of D750. Is the night af at -3ev a deal breaker when comparing to that of D600 or D610?

I don't understand what you are trying to say bro?
You find that having an extra feature of -3ev focusing capability a deal breaker??
Most of us really like this feature.

So sorry about that. My intention is to know whether the whole -3ev is really a big difference, in terms of low light focusing, in comparison to that of other models out there?

Erm bt frm ur other post, u do knw -3ev of D750 is Better than -2ev rite?..:) nt other way ard..

Yes. I know it's better when the ev is lower. Maybe I used the wrong word to bring out my point. Ultimately my intention is to know whether it's just paper specs, or does it have significant differences when compared to other models with -2ev or -1ev

Right, but somebody has to prove that it works better with -3 EV AF. IMHO, the -3EV works well only with AF illumination. One thing to note.... AF illumination with Nikon DSLRs only comes on when you are using the central AF point.

If use AF illumination then no point for EV Af difference rite? Shine a light of course can focus lor..

Got smone asked bt no reply yet..

Imho, nt much diff.. it still couldnt focus when my kid is sleeping and i have a small bedside light.. very dark but eyes can see & walk about kind of dark..

Mayb when -5ev comes ard then can see more difference?..lol But of course tis is jus my own opinion & non-scientific..:)
