Thanks, and thanks sabrelancer too, I will try tomorrow.. I was rather shocked since I had an Ultra card inside, and it took about 2 sec to save a shot!

It is not about your card speed bro. It is how complicated the Noise was that the internal photo processor has to compute the NR algorithm inside your camera to clean up the shot in REAL TIME. No the computer in your camera can not multitask. Thus it can really take a while. Try to shoot a long exposure night scene and see how long it takes NR to work heheheh... I made a mistake once when I forgot to switch it off and I was shooting firework.. wah.. 4-8 seconds between shots! lol. Also this gets longer if you are shooting on higher megapixel size and higher ISO.

Do what I do.. keep it switch off if you really can help it and use a s/w to tweak the NR.

I tried that, the first shot is always slow, then the second is ok... very strange.
Then I reduced the file size from 24mb to 13mb and it seems better?

Are you saying that this is your first and only lens (now) for your D750?

I got myself the 18-35 and 50 1.8G to pair with my D750. My only lenses, considering I only had the 35 1.8G and the 11-16 when I was on a crop setup.
