I think HN provides extension on FULL COVERAGE of your existing vendor's gurrantee.
Imagine if Nikon will replace shutter within his gurantee, then HN just extends that gurantee and pays nikon should anything happens.

FYI, HN is the only place with 100% coverage without depreciation. If your thing is beyond economical sense to repair, they will replace a new set for you at your buying price. (Image a camera selling at $1788 3 years later)

Most HN claims are not much question asked.

That's why they swee. (I don't work in HN, dun worry)

Thats what I understand too...if thing is beyond repair they will replace a new set. But if its repairable they will bear the cost :thumbsup:

You remember Pertama? They merged with HN if I'm not wrong. So I don't think they will be winding up so soon :dunno:

Thats how I calculate when I was goin to buy D70s. I decided to pay extra $113 at HN for extra 2years warranty , extra 2gig CF (Total 4gig) and extra tripod. But I dont have the 1-2-3 CD. Of course all the extra I have to bargain for it. So i find it overall a better bargain.

So another happy D70ser I can see..welcome!!

actually i tried to tell my dad to buy frm courts/HN
courts has better package, but he thinks the 40GB HDD is cheap so chose the CP package.
