The picture quality does not seem as good as the D3, hope I am wrong.

picture quality?i tot they use the same sensor?and it's also dependent on lens used right?
so it will be really hard to compare unless both have same lens fitted on.

The D700 with the 14-24 will come close to 2 kg. I don't think Jeanie is able to lift it with one hand for self-camwhoring. ;p

anyway, for cam whoring, usually u dont use such a wide lens because of distortion.

i tried cam whoring with d3 and 14-24, distortion makes you feel like you are shooting a convex mirror!
and to those who wonder how i cam whore with d3+14-24, i hold the d3 with my left hand, my friend whom i am cam whoring with will hold it with her right hand.

get the idea?

I think setting self timer and just hold the lens might be more stable.. Afterall, you've got ISO6400 at your disposal.. ;p Maybe can try with a fisheye.. ;p

This is not BS**,it work on my D300 and also with my canon 1Dmark3.u know i's a pain to pay $20+ to do the cleaning....i do have some camera without sensor cleaning too.

The ultrasonic vibration dust cleaning only works on non-sticky and non-electrostatic-charged dust. You still have to do the conventional cleaning once in a while.

Now, this reminds me of what happen 2 to 3 weeks ago, when I went with friends to Geylang for makan. When I saw those China women doing it with their HP cam, I understood the true meaning of the word cam whoring. :bigeyes:
