Use sRealav2 tone curve. Never had a problem since I loaded that in.

Hmm wat's this sRealav2 tone curve? Some software loaded into D70?

Glad to know still so many D70/D70s users around.. I've been using my first DSLR Nikon D70s for 2.5yrs now.. no major issue and still happy with it

Still have got my D70 for at least 4 years already, serve me pretty well.
Just upgrade to a D300, thus keeping the D70 as a spare body, but hell technology does move fast eh. 3 Inch LCD sure makes a bloody big diff.

I've also just upgraded, though to a D90. Also using the D70 as backup. For me it's the AF-on delay that pushed me to upgrade. The main benefits with the new cam are the high-ISO performance and lots of custom settings.

The SD door is too loose, similar to the D70 CF door, but the D70's door was in a bad position. The D70's mode dial was too loose also; the D90's is better (though I don't like the shiny plate).

If my D70 wasn't slow with the AF I might not have upgraded.

Upgraded to a D80 quite long ago... now using my D70s(IR modded) 4 IR... Still going strong and still happy with it!

been using D70s for quite some time but did not experience any of the problem. the CF door never gave me problem. dial till now is still tight too. my buddy will be getting D90 as his 1st dslr .. gonna test it out then decide. but i will probably end up with a d300 and keep d70s as backup

for me, i am using d70s till now... very good cam but a little low on iso

becos of iso, i thinking of new body
