Just FYI, the latest version of D200 is using Firmware 1.01 for Bank A. Which is not yet officially released on the sites - http://www.nikonuser.org/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=763

This is totally untrue. All D200s have 1.01 for bank A.

Sometime ago, when I was still looking for the MB-D200, my colleague went to HKG and I asked him to find for me..... HKG prices sucks (almost $300 for the MB-D200).... they are even worse opportunists that the Singapore Ah Beng shops, IMO. Of course there may be good honest shops, but he did not manage to find one during his trip.

The latest firmware1.01 for Bank A, did it solve the banding issue? What is the compromise while trying to solve the banding issue? anyone got any idea? If we get the grey set, can we just download the new firmware to solve the banding issue?
