Nikon CoolPix 5700

Dunno if I can ask this here abt 5700
Shoot anyway

Juz loaded Nikon capture 3 (trial) but the Camera Control dun seems to work leh.

During installation on XP there is a warning that my service packs are newer and it abort some portions of the installation.

However it can download pics and viewer/editor seems installed correctly.

What have I not done right here? Anyone tried capture 3 wif 5700 b4

ya la.. i've checked with their support helpdesk, told me tht nikon camera control doesn't work with coolpix.... SICK!

hmmm the 5700 seems to focus much faster when the lens is set to infinity (using the landscape mode), correct me if i am wrong. :bsmilie:

No idea abt the FC-E9, but according to the Nikon Singapore site, the list price for the FC-E8 is a whopping S$450!!

How about the swivel LCD, superb macro, and accessories like vertical grip, teleconverter (420mm), wide angel (28mm), cable release etc.

Max shutter of 1/4000 ----- 602z's max shutter is 1/10000
bulb mode up to 5 min ----- at >15secs...im sure it will be very noisy right?
ISO 800 ----- 602z has ISO 800 and 1600. At 1mp thou.

A quick check on my 602z shows that its max shutter is 1/10000
602z will auto toggle NR when the shutter speed is slower than 3secs??

Hey, I think this might be a sotong question but what is the difference between using a CF or a microdrive?

Some say that a microdrive might be more fragile than a CF.

Which is better to use on a 5700?
