That is most certainly not the Nikkor lens. I have seen the ad somewhere else and think the lens is a Sigma, although the photo looked like a Tamron.

You can't get D60 and AFS 18-200VR Nikkor. The deal sounds too goot to be true, and hence cannot be true.

I just called to check their promotion. The lens for D40 and D60 are Nikkor and both comes with VR. Whoah what an offer.

I called them last time before too regarding a D80 promotion with 18-200mm lens for 1288. I asked the person once is it Nikon VR lens...he say yes, but he doesn't sound very confident about what he's talking about. I then called the number a 2nd time, and the guy on the othe rline told me say that it's actually a Sigma.
Besides, one of my friend's mum kenna 'chop' by one of the salesperson there before. Not too sure about the exact details, but she told me not to buy anything from them since they tend to misquote you sometimes.

If you can get the nikor vr 18-200 with D60 at this price, I can get 5 set and be at least 1.5K richer. not to be secarstic. It is too true to be true. be very careful.

By the way, if u look at the lens at the brochure... it looks more like a Tamron 18-200

if it's true it's better then a steal, more like a rob! I would hope that it's true tho. Buy a 18 - 200 vr lens and free one d60.

I just called again and they said the lens for the D60 is a Tamron and for the D40 comes with 18-55 ed and 55-200 VR.

Do u all know which F1 team have actually got NIKON logo?

i think no F1 team has Nikon logo ..my guess is the car on the advert does not belong to f1 but to other car race (maybe Formula Three, etc)

As an aside, also got an additional 3 months warranty for the camera body by signing up and registering the camera with www.nikonclub.com.sg

Called Load's and ask for D80 kit 18-135mm, their price is $1400 with same freebies as COMEX. credit card installment on CITIBANK at 3% more. means total $1442 only.! inclusive gst.

sure got some stupid term n condition one, at the end, u may find yourself been foolish by them. that's the way they make their business. they just want to make you step into their shop, that's it.

I believe the D60 with a 18-200 VR nikkor lens is definitely not possible, don't even have to go down and check. haha! average price for the lens is like 1280 la. LOL! so it means you buy a 18200VR lens, you get a D60 body FOC! wow!

Yes...they have credit card installment. Just came from there looking at the D60. Somehow the price they told me is different.

But the deals for the entry level like D40 and D60 seems quite reasonable not in prices but the freebies. When I brought my D40 I have no freebies at all.
