Here's some sample photos with the D810 + 20/1.8G. All shot here handheld.

I'll say the 20mm f/1.8G is not as sharp as the 35mm f/1.8G, and on par with the 28mm f/1.8G only at f/2.8g onwards. But I've to find some time to AFtune this lens and run it through more..

All shots output from DxO Optics without any lens correction (No profile yet, so no vignet/distortion control)

Tried couple shops in Funan but all no stock, price wise from 900 to 999. Any idea where I can find this pc?

If you seriously want to buy, reserve it at one of the shops. I booked mine at TK quite awhile ago, and they called me moment it came in.

Alternative is to buy from B&H online

went to KSL JB last weekend, quoted RM2400 by a shop there. Dont know if the price is correct or not.

Distortion is well under controlled. I find the 20/1.8g is one of the wider lens that has minimal distortions (without needing correction)
Vignetting on this lens is quite bad.. F4 and below, you'll see strong vignetting but easily correctable still.

Was at my regular shop, and they told me 3 units came in like last week and it was snapped up by pre-orders immediately.

So far stocks seem very limited for this lens still. As an update, I saw TK had two pieces of the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8G in today. Its been a long time since they had pieces come in.

I decided to get the Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 ZF.2 which I just got on the weekend.... prefer the rendering.

Any idea what's the current price for this lens ?

My 17-35 f/2.8 just conk out. Zoom can only rotate to 28 mm and AF erratic.
Just wondering whether it's worth to repair or just get this prime.

I doubt the price has dropped much, so should be lower $9xx.

You can also consider the new Sigma 24/1.4 ART or the nikon 18-35/3.5-4.5 Depends greatly on your usage.

Had the 24-70 f/2.8 so not considering the sigma.
Will bring the 17-35 to service center and let them assess the repair cost.
Any amount above 700, will forgo the repair and opt for the prime.
