Nikon wants to go head to head with Sony and Canon in the pro cinema camera segment. Of course we know RED is famous for Hollywood style movies, the real professional big gun. Nikon would certainly use some of it's technology in their stills photography cameras. Should Sony and Canon worry? Not much for now but Nikon could use Japanese know how and American technology to steal the thunder of Sony and Canon.
