A and B both at same setting of ISO 1600 f5.6 1/60 @200mm. Focusing speed for both was quite slow because of this spot which I picked. It feels about the same to me.

Not mentioning which pic from which lens, I think my assessment is that it is not really justifiable for me to replace my current 70-300 VR with this lens, as it cost $1200 more. Sharpness is really close too. I personally do not think it is worth that much more than the 70-300 VR. Plus point for this lens is the excellent VR and lightweight, which I wouldn't have any qualms bringing it out any day.[/QUOTE]
