wa..really scary, the non-vr version is only $199, but the vr version is almost $400!! thats double the price..

just put a vr then they can double the price

of course it is, though its not the newest version, but still very helpful.

vr is useful bit not in all situation.

to reduce cost, get a tripod.

Not really, as you can always set your shutter speed to 250 whenever using telephoto lenses. Of course, you sort of sacrifice the depth of field when need to make use of smaller f-stop.
