its a gd and cheap prime lens. i got mine in may for $170 tat time. search high n low b4 getting it. can also reserve at the reputed shops and wait for stock. Seems like the price for this lens goin up

Hi there, I was told by a friend that a shop has stock of the Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens. Is $185 too expensive to pay? Please let me know, I totally blur about this Thanks!

Is pretty close for this price. This is a very sharp & reliable lens. Good for you. I never leave my 6-years old faithful Nikkor 50 1.8 when I go on a assignment..

Someone I knew just bought it at $175.00, I think.:think: Ya, tele sometimes a tiny bit higher, go visit the shop, who knows..
