Nikon 50mm f1.8 Price? $185 too expensive?

Hi there, I was told by a friend that a shop has stock of the Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens. Is $185 too expensive to pay? Please let me know, I totally blur about this Thanks!

There's one shop at burlington square carrying the nikon brand..they sell only $175nett..
They still got stock..got mine there 2 weeks ago..

normally ranges from $170+ to $180+, GST inclusive. guess $185 not dat far off. go down to the shop in person and u might be able to bargain down. tele or e-quotes normally higher.

Couldn't remember the shop name..i was looking for this lens for quite a while..but all of them out of stock..happen to come out from burger king at burlington square..and saw this shop, then i tot i give it a try..and they have it..think they newly open one..quite blur with their stock oso..but friendly service..

juz went there yesterday.offer me $185 without GST.guess they are aware of waz happenning in SL. AL and CP ran out of stock. The rest of the SL shops start becoming a leech....muz be very patience if gonna get this lens...maybe with AL and CP start having their supply.
FYI...In malaysia (KL) selling for RM400/2.3 = S$173 nett nett with international warranthy...but sadly the lens become pupus liao...

As for reverse mounting, please do a search in the Nikon Subforum, I've demonstrated the reserveral ring usage + 50 f/1.8 a lot of times. Thanks...
