Due to the exchange rate, Japanese Yen has risen against Singapore Dollar, as such, most camera manufacturers (Nikon, Canon etc) have increased their prices early this year. :sweat:

Anyway, my opinion is wait. Sooner or later, somebody would be selling his in B&S and you just have to wait.

Its worth it in the long run.

$2600 is a very good price for now!! CP selling above $2700!!!

Used so many different zooms, but 24-70 2.8 Nikon is the best. Never ever thought of replacing it with anything.

if d90, u are actually better off with the 17-55/2.8 DX lens which roughly gives u the same FOV as the 24-70.

i've a 17-55 on my d200 and still very satisfy with this combination for travel. only draw back is that i find its reach not long enough sometimes. is it a good choice to get this lens?
