Nikon 24-120 F4 VR lens

nice to hear that :).. Thanks.. seriously Nikon spoil market for this lens by pricing the d750 kit so low..

Yes, the d750 kit is the same price as Malaysia ... when usually it is cheaper in Malaysia

Many beautiful photos you have taken with this lens as shown in your flickr site :thumbsup:. For me, I have taken more than $50k photos with this lens especially on travels with nary a problem. Its very sharp, reliable & now so very cheap, excellent value!

I have taken the 24-120mm f/4 through rain & snow. No problem so far & its still kicking. :bsmilie:

Here is a pic taken with the lens while I am standing out in the middle of snow fall....

I just wiped off the melted snow afterwards.

Enjoy while it lasts.

Some of us know why it is so... it may not last long.

Well, there must have a good reason for the good price...(...just hope you're able to read my mind...if not, refer below, bro...;))

Yup, that's right...BBB...MTL...for those if the features/functions on it serves your purpose...wait some might cause a "game-over" aka OOS...:bsmilie:

Well, just some side-tracks...for my not getting this is the focusing points cramped mostly around the centre-of-frame...:thumbsd:,
was in fact deciding between this D750 and D7200 for some of its advantage on the DX format body... (yes, I know one is FX...one is DX:bsmilie:).

Furthermore, heard new D??? is on its way...!!! Hopefully the NEW one will equipped with a much better Focus-points coverage as opposed to the current model:angel:...yeah, finger-crossed...hahaha!!

Hahaha typo error, its without the $. Dealing too much with money :)

Hahaha ... :bsmilie:

For a moment I thought you sold a photo of yours for $50K ... :bsmilie:

Ok thanks

but the D5 is totally a different level & more expensive camera than the D750 range, right ?

is it because of the rumour that the D5 is coming soon, so they wanna clear the D750 stock ?

ermmm no... D5 will only affect prices of D4s...

The reason is more about the business in Asia pacific as a whole. I shall not say more.

Fact is, SG is now the cheapest place in the whole world to get Nikon gear... not just the D750, even lenses, and other camera bodies are cheaper. Even the 400/2.8 is a whole SGD 1.5k cheaper in SG compared to HK or China. buy more while it lasts...

Well, I'm not referring to D5 as hinted with 3-digit eg. D??? not D?...;)...gotten some news ( basically the reduction/lowered $$$...) but as to how reliable:think:...hmmm....finger-crossed...:bsmilie:

Like I said, if good-AF => (as in terms of points coverage:thumbsup: on the frame) will likely be owning a Nikon:heart:FX once again...bro Ryan...hehe.....

Oh you mean there is a further reduction in price for the D750 and/or a release of a new D751 with cheaper price ?

Ok bro bluesky, you not happy with the AF when the coverage is larger ...

Thanks

Ooh no ryan bro, hehe...what I meant for my not getting this is...the focusing points cramped mostly around the centre-of-frame...

Focus-lock-shift method does induced some form of inaccuracy, especially when one pixel-peeped thru pics will reveal it...portraits shots especially:( and
even products & food shots on some instances:(...which can be critical:sweat: at times:thumbsd: (...which then have to switched over to manually AF liao...sigh...then there again might as well buy manual cam coz much cheaper also...hahaha...!!!

BTW....

Just a minor reference but it does show you that there are a good list of lens that are weather proof. Look out for the gold line on the rim. I shot in the stormy rain without umbrella with my D4/24-70mm for over an hour without problem.

Thank you Sammy.;). Nice to know that the gold line / ring stands for weather sealing. I have used the 24-120mm & its kin the 70-200mm f/4 in foul weather without any problems so far. Like DD123 mentioned just don't dunk it in water.
