I don't think so, there are plenty in the field already. Anyway, I have the feeling there will be a V3 quite soon after they released the J3 this month already.

If you're not on Nikon's pay list you probably don't know how the sales are. In general the Nikon 1 kits sale great.

i read some articles about j3 and s1, which will not have an anti aliasing filter. both googling and yahooing gave me bunch of articles, explaining all the technicalities which i don't really understand. is somebody able to explain in (plain) English on (1) what is it (2) where can we find it (3) what is the consequences if a camera does not have it.

As far as I know none of the Nikon 1 cameras has an AA filter like most compact cameras.
