Yup there is a Nikkor 60/2.8 (AFS, AFD & AF versions). The 105 gives you longer working distance when compare to the 60. This means that for the same magnification, the subject is further away from the lens with the 105 then the 60. If your macro shooting is mainly on still life then the 60 is ok. Otherwise it is better to get the 105, as the insects will be scared off long before you can get too close. Btw there is also an AFD 200/4 micro.
oic means 105 i can stand further away from the subject and still get macro shot..
60mm i got to stand nearer..45mm is quite a distance...
btw i saw in some thread tat if use 105mm in food..we got to moeve to next table then can shoot ah...is tat true?
btw for the 3 version..using d90 i can af wif afs n afd rite? and afd shd be much chepaer?
