quite a variety, most of my shots done here and everywhere are done with the sigma 10-20 though.

the ir shots have to be done with my kit lens (pentax 18-55)
macro shots were done with sigma 70-300 macro (bummed lens for a while)
once a long while there will be the 50 f/1.4 popping up
and there is the characteristic lensbaby shot.. in which case it will be the lensbaby 2.0

cheers :)

Your Sigma 10-20mm must be proud to have a owner like you.

Mine is still sitting in dry-cabi after one oversea trip. All your shots are very inspiring and urging me to bring it out.

thanks leong23 :)

i think my sigma 10-20 is pretty angry at being abused, always getting so near seawater and narrowly escaping :bsmilie:

just kidding. i must admit, it is the best buy i have ever made.. i probably should not have gotten the 50 f/1.4.. i hardly use it because i don't like taking people shots.. :bsmilie:

very blue! ha.. but i think maybe exclude the horizon and juz focus on the rocks and "silky" water will be even better? like go zen or something.. =)

i find the background and the right side (a ship?) slightly distracting..

yes, it is a ship :)

and hahaha yar, my own feel about the photo was that the horizon took away from it, that's the trouble with loving the 10-20 too much.. you go with it and you can only take 20mm longest :bsmilie: next time i should bring a 50mm, at least it's small.

thanks for the comments, bro! :)

Been missing from the APAD, you have very nice photos coming. I enjoyed them all

a slight tilt... deliberate?
or deliberately want to make me.. dizzy? :sticktong

yar, deliberate.. cos want this perspective need to get vertical distortion

so might as well make the most of it and tilt it until it has the feel that the statue is "guarding" the cemetery, work or not? :dunno:

Hello! I'm still amazed at your composition of landscape photos, really. After a long while, I'm still stuck at getting my composition right! Especially for wide angle photos, I can't compose well! :bsmilie:

Awaiting more wonderful pictures! :)

it's ok, i can't compose with anything longer than 35mm most of the time :bsmilie:

today i went national stadium, put on my 50mm for a while, fooled around, only got the one shot i posted up just

in the end just sighed and took out the 10-20.. this addiction really too deep already :dunno:

hmm.. didn't quite work for me.. dunno if it's a perspective thing or a composition thing.. dun get the idea of "guarding".. colours are great though (as per usual from you! ^_^)

yar, i know what you mean.. is probably a bit of both, cemeteries in london always very cluttered, don't know where to begin with composition.. :(

a bit lower, i have.. but leads to compression of the bottom half, not my cup of tea.. i want the leading lines to be distinct and taking up significant space :)

Nobody like this?
I like it very much ;p

thanks scaredcloud.. had some fun with layering and textures..

for once at 85mm.. hahaha :)
