oh i love the tone on this one, except it's falling backwards a little.

got any closeup of the texture of the door?

not sure if this is what you want, but this is a closeup on the door :

I realised that i must have squatted too low to take the pix, and hence the falling back of the door. There are many white specks on the door due to the renovation work going on in the church.

in fact, the entire church is under refurbishment, the entire interior was like a construction site.

KK, is there any way to correct such falling back during post processing? i have the same problem with the window which you commented earlier - correct me if i'm wrong -correcting the tilt wont solve the problem cos its more a problem of the angle when i was taking the pix - i was not standing in the right spot to get a good straight on shot.

yes you are right. when i took this pix, i was still trying to adjust to the new camera (coolpix S4), and was zooming into her from far. no excuse really :embrass:

i like the expression on her face, as if grouching the fact a stranger was pointing the camera on her. her sister came, but she wouldnt take the pix with her sister..

here's a pix of the sister .. another OOF pix..another one i zoomed in from far. I like this pix, but regretfully it was OOF...

hmmm reminds me of the kids i came in touch with when i was in india rebuilding an orphanage. they're all so photogenic.

they were all very eager to be photographed.. so it wasnt too difficult.. i saw them playing on this little platform, so i went forward and started aiming my cam.. PnS.. but they started to pose, so i showed them the 7 .. and they imitated me..

they were all students of this school in which we were holding some discussion. i was taking them having lunch, discussion, playing soccer, etc..
