waah! nobody likes lowepro wat? not stylish meh? IMO better protect the 'investment' and the look are not bad as well. like the stealth edition.

i have a small slingbag that fit 1 primary and 1 2nd body. 1 70-200 and 2-3 small primes. the 200AW slingshot

How does Crumpler, Think Tank, Domke or Billingham protect the investment any less?

Depends on the thickness of the padding I guess. One other thing is Crumpler uses a felt-like material to line the compartments, and the velcro tends to pull off some of this material, which will result in lint stuck to the lens / camera. NOt a big issue, but still something to consider.

Agree. The lint does get annoying after awhile. However, I am quite sure that other brands do not necessarily offer less protection than Lowepro. On the contrary, I feel that some brands actually offer better protection and better ergonomics than Lowepro.

I have the 6 Million Dollar bag. Love it to bits!

After I bought my Billingham 306, the Lowepros all feel like plastic terrible made-in-china bags with high levels of toxic lead(Joking...).Do check out the Billinghams. There is simply no replacement for them...except Fogg:thumbsup:

BBB red alert in here. :o

i have 5m dollar home from crumpler.
bought @ $112 few mths ago.
used it and felt that its enough for me.
only 1 dslr + kit lens . and there's 2 more pocket for me.
so i use it to put 1 blower and 1 empty.

but i wld suggest u to get 6mdh bah.
jus incase u upgrade ur equipment. =]

imma crumpler fan. =D

not that i can't afford billings, but i find that the crumpler style is much for suited for the younger crowds in the lower 20s range.

lol gary fong used a crumpler too~ =D

if you have a deep pocket, try this one

wah fogg bags are nice! but really expensive and out of bounds for me lol...but if you are really professional I think the billinghams and fogg will be the best protection for your cameras.

crumplers for me too, gotten one......not bad...comfy and can go stealth..

actually if you REALLY want that much protection, go for the hard boxes they use for sound equipment. =D comes with rollers!

there are hard camera cases in the market, though I don't think i'm able to name you any brands. im not that saavy. besides... i dont think you'd want to carry that around... billings and foggs are in my opinion just hand-made quality brands. =P

i STILL prefer my youthful crumplers over them ;p

fashionable just zham the 7million dollar home lo.. practicality is more impt than looks for camera bag imo.. just my 2 cents

I think the 6 million dollar bag would be good..not too big or not too small to fit more things...btw any domke shops around in Singapore or do I have to order online? I also like the domke bags but not sure which to get.. seen the popular ones here are the J2, F6, J6, F2?? Is the crumpler + domke both waterproof bags as well? I think the domke one is more durable and tougher than the crumpler one.

CP sells the domke one F6.. around the same price as the 6mil home crumpler

i've given up looking for nice fashionable camera bags for dslr. My grouse is that most manufacturers design dslr bags for men, and not for women. Most are black, brown, grey. screams CAMERA BAG instanteously!

I also didn't want a crumpler, cos every tom dick and harry seems to be carrying it.

So,.. anyway... I've decided that maybe i'm too "advanced" for my time. Just got to wait until someone decides to design something nice for us women. =)

Cheers
Jinny

PS: In the end, I got a Kata rucksack, in a light pastel green colour. =)
