B bigteeth New Member Feb 19, 2011 #21 DX sensor is 1.5 cropped in 35mm standard. Four third sensor is 4/3 cropped on DX sensor. Hence approximate 4/3 crops on APSC. I always wonder did they name it from this simple math.
