Be it that the building has not really completed all the construction work; be it that some shops are still rushing to complete their renovations, be it that some shops are still organizing their display items, Nex is opened and is attracting shoppers in droves.
The crowd is already thronging at Nex, nevermind the construction and renovation noises, thinner and paint smell. Fast food restaurants see long queues, as restaurants start to establish best practices for quality and efficient service. Cars are queuing up to enter the multi-story carpark and the quiet Serangoon Avenue 2 suddenly see a surge in traffic.
I had walked around Nex at about 1am or so, with some workers still going about Nex doing some last minute work. My reason for getting these nocturnal shots is to get clean shots of the multi-story carpark without any vehicles in there.
