nex or nx for legacy lenses?

just curious. the sony seems to be the body of choice for legacy rf users. the samsung nx seems to be a capable system as well. why is it less popular?

From what I understand, the Samsung NX is not as popular because unlike the Sony NEX, it requires a mount change rather than a mount adapter for M lenses.

Yep that's what I read too. Apparently the diameter of the mount is too narrow. So if you really want to mount different lenses, get the nex.

I am still using m4/3 format for my m lenses, love it for the evf. Here's a jup 3 50f1.5 wide open shot without using magnify zoom to focus.

My beef with the M4/3 system is the 2x crop. Otherwise, the system works fine.

There's supposed to be a Ricoh M-mount module for the GXR, and just maybe other mirrorless cameras coming out this year. I'm waiting to see how the Sony NEX 7 turns out as well.

Me too hoping the nex 7 comes with a high res EVF

If it is as good as the Panasonic GH2, I'm jumping in.

But I would like to see how good Ricoh's image processing turns out.
