This time round, the updates would have firmwares for both camera and adaptor. So, both updates would add the improvement of UI and enable the support of AF for the A-E mount adaptor.

Thought that was quite clear in the article.

i know NEX FW v3 will enable it to use AF on SAL with the help of an adapter.

wat i meant is My friend told me the Firmware of the Adapter , Model = LA-EA1, has a new Firmware update available.
And he's not referring this Firmware is for NEX but is for the Adapter.

Never mind la... Just download and use the latest FW for both camera and adapter la. Enjoy...

Hehe... But I am more incline to try some manual focus lens for my NEX3.
