I love fisheye lenses. Too bad Sony is not producing one for the NEX. But their fisheye converter for the 16mm lens is not too shabby I must say.

Yes its to mount on the 16mm E-Mount lens only

Why not? Both the 18-55mm and 16mm lenses are still available ex-stock as of this morning. :dunno:

Of course. When I bought my 16mm last week, I posted that Parisilk Holland Village still have stock of both lenses. This morning when I was there, they still have the same stock. Guess nobody read my post or were not interested in the lenses.:dunno:

Stocks at Sony Style most likely is sold out because the other retailers are not giving discount anyway. So rather buy it from Sony.

So that must be the rationale behind why people here would rather do without the lenses and lament about the apparent lack of stock than get them from the local dealers even if stock are aplenty (just not at Sony Styles). Go figure ! :think:

Depending on what you want, film protector can be obtained from almost any computer shop. Sony film protector is still in stock last I checked over the weekend. Alternatives would be sold at many shops, though if you want cheap you can also get from Denso at Vivo. I think S$2 only.

If you are worried about protecting your new Sony toy, I guess safest is to spend a bit more and get the official Sony film screen protector first, and top up with the hard protector when its back in stock at Sony shops.
