Click! retained the bottom part of my warranty card when I bought the camera, wasn't an issue when I went for freebie collection.

I might pick up either the body only or the dual lens kit in Japan over Xmas.

Erm, Japan domestic set has Japanese menus and not changeable to English. The international sets might not be as attractive in Japan. And do note Panasonic SG has this ANAL POLICY of NO international warranty and warranty only applicable to first owner..................................................

I got the black/silver one, it is a beauty.

All black looked too much like my S100, white risks getting dirty and I wasn't a fan of the material on used on the orange...of course this is very much a personal preference.

Unfortunately not and as mentioned before, the menus are Japanese only. Most people here might not like it.

But don't get me wrong. At the end of the day, I am still a quite hard core Panny user... just can't stand the policies of Panasonic SG, still imaging in SG is still not the main business and customers are not treated properly as what other big brands like Nikon, Canon, Olympus and Sony would provide.

I still have a G1, GX1 and now a GM1. All the ones~~~

I got mine from marina square branch. But I think that was the last pc. The main branch in peninsula have stock.

Lol.. I'm a panny user too. (G2/GH2/GF3/GH3).. so much that Microcosm calls me the Panasonic Guy.. lol (during our last kopi session). I too have issues with the
way panny is treating their customers.. next time i go down to PSC, must have a word with their CS manager..

Is it that bad? I didn't realize that. Though my only Panasonic camera is the GH2, still my favorite m43 body except for the IQ in shadow areas.

Well.. What do you call charging $350 to send a lens Back to japan to clean some dust spots? Of course after *ahem* "gently" persuading them they offered me something better. But why create animosity in the first place? Or the fact they will not recognize overseas warranty. Hmm. Ok. Let's move on. Don't intend to bash panny. Just to agree with the previous poster that their customer service needs an overhaul. Or more accurately their processes.

They have to send it to Japan to remove dust specs? Sounds like they can't handle slightly more complicated jobs here in SG.

their service isn't bad. For example, on request, I managed to get my MFT7-14 cleaned up and maintained all within the space of 1 week plus a letter stating the lens is in perfect working condition - all for $0 for an out of warranty product.

Its their stand coming to warranty issue that irks some (me including).
Especially when they insist on having the original warranty + receipt, warranty goes to 1st owner only, only local warranty - no international. Comparing this to Olympus, Pana has a lot to improve on.

They will, i believe. Go Agrivar!

Yeah, seems to be the trend unfortunately: No caps and no charger.
