[ News ] : Olympus develops compact camera with Zuiko lens

I'm old enough to be microcosm's father, so what does that make me? (macrocosm?) :bsmilie:

I was looking at a number of review summaries for Olympus point-and-shoot cameras and I'm surprised how bad they are and each replacement model seems to copy the old model without improvement. Now, I wonder if the whole company is just clueless. :(

I hope they start doing things well. They must change.

Saw microcosm Facebook he doesnt look old... I think I am older than him lor... lols

Some people look young, some people look older, so never judge a book by its cover, people mistake me for my mother's brother, so what does that mean? ;)

I agree with the change, but change better be good otherwise its a :nono:

Change is always good... until the change hit right between the eyes

Change is never always good, change is always drifting between good and bad, E-1 to E-3, the quality change is good, colours produced is bad, grip is also bad, so how is change always good? :sticktong

Well... The current PENs are more or less the same size as that of the OM cameras, who knows? That might be the pro pen afterall

:

What I meant was the look more than the size, just like the Fuji ... Pen doesn't look like an OM camera at all, Fuji looks more the part of the retro pro camera. Obviously, is Pen more like the old Pen, a budget camera, not the OM.

Anyway, the Pens have given me a lot of great pics already, all fully paid for IMHO in terms of results

I was talking about size bro, not about look, since they're concentrate on m4/3, probably the pro PEN MIGHT be like a digital OM not in terms of look but in size

Ok, understood :). Confusion is because I mentioned was hoping for Oly making the OM 4-Ti digital version (which looks like the Fuji I was discussing about with the other poster), which of course is not just about size (which is what I meant). I should have said "OM4ti look and size" :bsmilie:

Haha, true true. I'm sure hoping for a modular system, then at least I can make it bigger and smaller by adding stuff or removing if needed ;),one of my main concern would be size
