They are not fake. They are 3rd party batteries. I use dste branded ones as spares. Pretty decent

Hey guys need help again.. went down to TK FOTO today and asked if they sold the gx7 battery and they said no... They say no such thing. =\ Anyone knows where sells the battery? Would wanna keep a spare one with me!

Just got an original spare from CP Marina. 4-5 times the price of 3rd parties though.

Compared the original batt for GF6 vs GX7. Same size but about 60% power rating of the new model for GX7.

Played with GX7 with 20mm on it - it handles better than E-M5 and the VF is clearer. Problem is I don't need the 20mm...
