Hey guys, i just wanted to ask, what's the most affordable zoom lens to get for the GX7?
I'm planning on getting a 14-42mm II as well as a prime like the 20mm f1.7, would that be recommended?

Personally i feel that is a good enough setup. The 20mm F1.7 will be very useful for low light photography without flash.

Agree with xtac. The 20mm is also small and pancake size for easy bring around.

I think the 20mm is awesome in it's own right, and is compact too. When I bought my EP3 previously, I rarely had the kit lens on. I bought the 20mm (older version) and it was on my cam most of the time. Although alot more expensive, I think I would rather spend that money towards the 12-35mm F2.8 but for now the 20mm on my GX7 is just perfect for my usage.

Probably not. The bigger eye cups will also cover the corners of the EVF. There is a reason the default eye cups aren't any longer. My recommendation is to never buy the bigger eye cups all manufacturers try to make money with.

Do you have problem with the EVF in broad daylight?

If you're using manual focus lens for photo, then better take GX7. Because it has good focus peaking implementation.

If you dun need it urgently, probably wana wait for the new Olympus EM-10 that will be releasing soon before making a decision. The price for EM5 might drop further too.

Support this. I don't think the EM10 will be 'weaker' than the GX7 ,being the successor to EM5.

GX7's street pricing will definitely be affected by the release anyway so a short wait might be worth it.

Now when I try to detect the wifi signal from GX7, it connects for 3 secs then it disconnect saying something like it is disconnected because the signal is unstable but on the camera it says wifi connection completed !

But my camera is just beside the handphone so why is the wifi signal weak ?

Any ideas ?

E-M10 seems to be outselling the GX-7 on Amazon, which is ahead of the E-M1. E-M5 has dropped of the first 20 list already...

I tried to connect it once and it worked out fine. Didn't prompt anything and I can shoot with my handphone. Btw, im using S4.

i got a problem now. I enabled electronic shutter but i want to change back to mech shutter but the option not available, also flash function not available to change then also iso limit due to electonnic shutter. How do i change it back to default? thanks! hope to solve this problem soon.
