Well, you could get a Leica 2 or 3 rangefinder. It's bottom loading, because there was no such thing as a swing back in those days. There isn't a advance lever, only a knob. No metering of any sort. No combined viewfinder. (You have to focus with one and compose with the other) You have to cut a Long Film leader to load this camera as well.
But I think it's damn sexy to look at, hold and use.
yeah u could, but practically wise as a starter camera for today, I wouldn't.
