Now when I look back on my army days, they were tough (no doubt about it), but kinda fun and carefree.

thanks the organiser for organising the outing and also didnt chase me out as i 'pop' up out out of nowhere LOL! bump into dingaroo during shopping and nice of him to pull me in if not i'll probably be somewhere miserably shooting alone at merlion park.
henry tks for the lift! makes a great difference. first time i reach home still feeling energetic.

Look out for new thread which I will start on FRIDAY 30 APRIL 0700hrs.
In the meantime I wil rack my brains for venue.
Outing will likely be on Wednesday 12 May.
Feel free to Contribute your suggestions.
No "advance booking" before new thread opens though. This one not Iron Man 2 movie!!

hahaha hmmmmm.... ok... I was wondering if it'd be better to have a newbies outing at the IR area when it's a little less crowded. If there are gonna be 20+ people like the previous outing, it'll be quite mad with the other crowd...
In that case it's sorta like every man for himself and not conducive to have sharing/guidance for the newbies.
Furthermore the IR is still quite incomplete externally... I think at least another few months before it looks pretty... probably closer to National Day.

Why not group newbies and seniors right at the forum.
1 senior - 2 or 3 newbies?
Then newbies follow seniors around on site for shooting.
Kind of more structure way of guidance....
Probably work well in a place whereby you will move about quite a bit instead of mostly in a single location like the esplanade roof top.

hmmm... walked across the helix bridge to the other side... can even walk to marina bay mrt... lol promenade and marina bay mrt are the nearest... yup it's pretty much incomplete... but i tink from tomolo onwards the casino at marina sands will be open... the main building exterior is pretty much nearly done... it's the exhibition hall area will is still pretty much undone... i tink the giant lotus will take even longer....
next time it will be nice to shoot there...
go ask francis about a place he showed me last week... damn nice place to shoot... but too exclusive... cannot fit 20+ people as it's a private property... but a few of us i think is ok...
