I am no master ... i haven't meditate in a cave on a mountain yet ...

Go ahead an slot you name in reserves first.

From past experience, there will be dropouts along the way, and you might just get promoted. Also, if we get a few more seniors to join, then I'm sure the Master of this outing won't mind increasing the size of the main group.

Thanks, Bertz. I have not invested in UWA yet, and my widest is my kit lens 18-55. :embrass:

Hmm. I thought you were using the 17-55 the other day? Nevermind, kit lens also no problem. These were taken with the 18-55 non-vr with D40x. That is the beauty of landscape photography. We stop down (shoot at small apertures) a lot, so having a F2.8 lens don't matter that much. So kit lens will still produce good pics

Dpn't be embarrassed. When you start shooting kick butt landscape photos with kit lens, make those showoffs with big big camera and big big lenses, blur till drop their spectacles... :bsmilie:

OK, will try to come and help out and demo horizontal alignments (again - becoming my specialty already)... may be coming bit later though; too many pre-6am cabs these few weeks already :sweat:

If NNB can slot me in (fingers crossed), I can pick u up from MRT station on my way. I pass Newton, Orchard, Somerset, Dhoby Ghaut, City Hall on my way there.

FYI, there will be 2 National Day Practice on 19 and 26 June this month. Road closure will begin from 1pm. Hopefully, we can vacate the area before then, so that those driving won't be stuck there.

Usually I park at Connaught Drive, which is JUST BESIDE the padang. Might not be accessible, so might have to look for alternatives.

Bro, think parking at Marina Square or SG flyer will be better, save u from walking that far to the Helix. (which i normally do)
