Hey tiffy! I like your shots! Very nice contrast and very big DOF! What aperture was you using huh? Anyway, here's my take for improvement: crop your first picture a little bit towards the left, so to leave out the trolley that can still be seen in the immediate foreground at the lower-righthand corner. Not essential though! :bsmilie:

Second shot seems slightly underexposed hor... background looks a bit to dark. Maybe can try to make it brighter, so that the boss can have the shape of the head more defined? (currently the black hair forms a continuum with the rather black background, making a person wonder where the hair ends and the background begins) Again, it's not really that essential. :bsmilie:

Wah! If only my shots are 1/10 as good as yours... ...

whoops, how could i forget to add on, nice work!! i like the 2nd one, looks like the old old sch type of show. nice work! keep it up! :blah:

Good choice of choosing in B&W. If it is in color, the environment will be too disturbing.

For 1st pic, the white stone/pillar at the bottom right corner is distracting. You should crop it out or re-orientate your angle when you took that shot.
Personally opinions, as a audience, I'm interested in knowing what the old gentleman is doing. A close up on his work might prove more interesting as well.

As for 2nd pic, you might want to elaborate what you trying to illustrate here. It will help the audience to visualise more easily.

Interesting work. ;)

My 2 cents of input.

Hmm... so you didn't change the contrast of the picture at all, before you put a border and signature huh? Wah! In that case then I must salute you man! Good work!

Now I only hope my pictures could turn out to be 1% as good as yours... :(

i'd like to say what they were doing tho..but my point of view when i look at pics..i like to use brain..and by thinking you can deprieve alot of outcomes. it maybe more interesting than the author just put 'the old man fixing a stupid fan or something' so maybe u should exercise your brain abit and come out with some imagination? hehe~ :sweatsm:
