Forgot to post this...this was taken from lucerne's chapel bridge
it's a common sight of birds and swans chionging for food from the local people :)

I love this one due to the ghostly effect from the flying birds..

not too sure of the choice of cropping for this especially the tight crop at top frame...

nevertheless, love the B+W..

Nice photos! You get better and better; I wish I could improve too. ^^

I agree with night86mare that you could have included more of the building in #20 (The Lourve) in your photo, but in my humble opinion, do include some white space too... don't cut it out too much. To me it just looks better; especially since the photo is in B&W, but of course I'm still amatuer so what I said may not really make sense. :)

Anyway, happy shooting XD

(yeah, I dug up me old clubsnap account...)

Hi Thomas! Thanks for the kind compliments and critique ;) (i love your minimalist works too )

I found the top kind of distracting due to a whole line of buildings and trees so i just cropped it off since the main part of the action just seems to be centered around the birds and the guy feeding them...which explains why the bottom was cropped off too ;p

but i guess it is indeed a bit too tight for our viewing comfort eh? :bsmilie:
maybe i'll just upload the original one for comparison?

Care to give your opinions? :D

#6 is a nice shot. colour is nice. the only problem is that the tower doesn't look straight. It is a common problem for wide angle lens. May be you can photoshop it...

gd job !!

I must admit...I like most of your shots. The picture tells me a story when I look at it. Some may not look good enough but you are almost reaching there. Shoot more and continue to post them here. Choose your better ones and put it in the critique corner where you will get a raw and blunt assessment of your picture. We can all learn from there.

TS..can i know what tripod are u using?

TS..can i know what tripod are u using?

for most of them (overseas photos) i used my Benro A550EX...(came with ballhead which can't pan)

except for the recent ones (#30-32) i used a recently bought Sirui N1204 with markins Q3T for a lighter setup and better ballhead with no creep and pan function

thanks for dropping by! :)

It will be better if this shot was lower and closer to the rock features.

thanks again for your critique tikiman ;)
i forgot to bring my tripod's shorter centre column that day  poor memory i got, next time must remember :sweatsm:

This one sweet lah. But what's with the bokeh-ed boat?

thanks SnagIt! The exposure few seconds so you see the lights from the boat :bsmilie:

sadly i reaction a bit slow that time never quickly set longer exposure for a longer stream of lights
