Hi everyone, need some help here.

I took this pic at 18mm on my kit lens EFS 18~135 with triport , without lens hood. It is quite clear that there are horizontal distortion (at the water line both edges are wraping upwards compared to the middle of the pic . Is this normal or there are defects on my copy ?

Thanks.

Best Regards
Naruto.

Hi Ivrive,

Thank you for the reply.

Learnt something new today.

welcome :)

btw.. changing the aperture size wun solve the problem. barrel/pincushion distortions can only be fixed via photoshop's lens correction profiles.

Hi Irvine,

Thank you for the pointers.
