Hi,

I just got a D90 and is troubled by the jello effect. While i understand that it occurs while zooming, i was surprise when i saw it also during focusing (fr closest to infinity). Can someone advice on how i can minimize or remove the jello effect?

Thanks.

The jello effect happens on other cameras as well, but it's all to a different extent. The sad thing is, to minimise the wobbling, you cannot pan fast, have anything move too fast across the field of vision, and cannot have sudden focal length changes. Basically any large changes is a no-no.

In that respect, the d90's video mode is a little bit of a bust.

Thanks for the reply. Will take note :)
