Newbie looking for a point & shoot.Pls help....

Hi,as above.I'm currently looking @ the Ricoh Caplio R5 & Kodak V705. Basically,I'm looking for 4 point & shoot with decent optical zoom (at least 5x) & with optical image stabilisation. Wide angle angle lens will also be nice to have.So yea, keep the coming ,including but not limited to the 2 above mdels.Thks for any help in advance.

You can take a look at the Canon A710IS or the Canon S3IS. Both comes with image stabilisation, offers manual control and 7x zoom for A710IS and 12x zoom for S3IS.

Thks for all the replies so far but I'm actually looking for those with at least 5x optical zoom in addition to optical image stabiliser....those with ultrawide lens is a bonus,so yea,keep the suggestions coming.....Thks
