hmm...Anthony, may I know did you PP this pic before presenting in the first place and if, you did, what were those "adjustment/s' that you had carried out??( FYI, to assist you further, I really have to ask the above and need your very frank and genuine answer/s, so as to more accurate and provide more appropriate guide/s for/as your future reference/s.....sincerely hope you can understand my asking...hehehe...!!
):bsmilie:
No problem ya, I didn't do much pp. I only adjusted the saturation, exposure, vibrance & curve.
I'm supper noob in pp
Btw, did you adjust on the contrast:think:, if so, mild, avg or strong, just as a gauge...??![]()
I've helped to re-edit you Fried Squid pic as 'A Picture Speaks Louder than Words'...hence, please refer to the example-pic as shown below ...can see and glad to know that you're a keen and rather good learner:thumbsup:, bro...!!! (...Well, might have the opportunity in future...who knows when I'll need assistance/man-powers...!!!:cheers![]()
:light:Just a gentle reminded: Please remember of the do's & don's when come strictly to 'Food Photography', and not referring to those that belongs to "Artistic"-work/s, thus, strictly refrained from applying "High-Key-shot", those unsightly and "Unnecessary-Tilt-&-Slant" presentation/s and most important is do not be mislead &/or misguided as far as possible, ya bro...hehe...!!
Thank you so much for guiding me!! I be more than happy to learn when there are someone willing to teach :bsmilie:
So did you sharpen the photo? What are the other changes you have done to the "squid"?
Found some photos that I forgot to post

Hi bro, well...you're most welcome...haha...!!
Yup...regarding about the sharpening of pic...especially after taken from your alreadyresized-shot in order to re-edit it, hence, sure must apply some sharpening and I believed by now/to-date you'd apprehended this 'point' ya...hehe...!! Swear to tell you the truth is only applied a 10%-input for the 're-edited/posted-pics' of yours, in ordered to re-upload...!!
Btw, as you've mentioned about any other changes made.....well basically, your that particular shot was over-exposed somehow and thus, contrast was affected too - :bigeyes:which is a common "follower" (...wondering how many know about it...sigh...and have you ever wondering those near/washed-out high-key-shots for FOOD-shot especially...!!!:nono...hahaha...!! Thus, highlight had been reduced by quite a substantial amount man...!!
Last but not least, I had to specially 'brighten' slightly on the 'green' so as to 'Blend-in' well on the whole...see that...hehe...!! Well and that's about all...!!
Hope you've learnt:light:somethings from here/this...!!
Bro Anthony, 1st kindly please note on that reflection/s -the spoon in this case, may try to place a nice piece of the food/meat
or if not, just place that spoon outside the dish and/or worst-come-to-worst simply just "throw" away that spoon lor...hahaha...!!!![]()
for the 2nd-shot, well, a rather good attempt though...except need to show a bit more on 'what's-on-the-leftside-huh' issue...you see...as this is a Pork Chop Rice...but based solely on this considered quite a close-up shot doesn't "tell" about the "Rice"...where is the/my rice huh...hehehe...?!?!
Bro Eric, dont mind me asking...how to brighten only the green part and not the rest of the area?
